Song of the Week: Songwriters Podcast #6

This week we talk about online collaboration, the land-mines. benefits, tears and joy of pollinating the world with your song. This is a big subject so we start off with my favorite musician collaboration site kompoz.com and also look at esession.com. We also grace over the clunker indabamusic.com/.. not my favorite. This is a big subject so we start off with my favorite musician collaboration site kompoz.com and also look at esession.com. We also grace over the clunker indabamusic.com/.. not my favorite. My terrible 2 week long cold got in the way of actually recording my song of the week… though I did write the melody and lyric. My collaborator this week is one of my personal favorites Stéphane Amaté. I’ve just completed a full production with him, valentune (which is to be called holiday.. I screwed up on itunes). Also big thanks to Bjorn for the use of (not yet titled) snakeeyes (one of our colabs) and Jason. Let me know what you think! leave a comment for my mom to see.

I have to correct myself on this cast.. i said it doesn’t so much matter on the talent of the engineer HA! I didn’t finish my thought and it’s too hard to re edit.. of course it has to do with thier talent, I was trying to say, a big part between the pros and [...]

I have to correct myself on this cast.. i said it doesn’t so much matter on the talent of the engineer HA! I didn’t finish my thought and it’s too hard to re edit.. of course it has to do with thier talent, I was trying to say, a big part between the pros and the blows is the equipment. This week we talk a little about the sonic value of your mixes and how they relate to the publishing industry. The web clip this week is airplay.jango.com and we also touch one tunecore.com. The song of the week was a colaboration of KingEz and Raanan Adler a fellow renaissance musician from NYC. Let us know what you think of the song of the week and the podcast.

Write a song with KingEz

If your a musician with a good musical mind and structural handle on the craft shoot me a tune! I’m always looking for collaboration projects. I work in just about any capacity or instrument but at this time, i’m really just enjoying writing Lyric/Melody and Arranging to semi-completed music even just on a acoustic guitar. [...]

I work in just about any capacity or instrument but at this time, i’m really just enjoying writing Lyric/Melody and Arranging to semi-completed music even just on a acoustic guitar. (recording quality/production doesn’t matter to me, the parts do.)

I’ll reply to all who send.. yay nay or maybe someday. It doesn’t always reflect on the music, sometimes, I don’t “hear” anything when I listen, and know that I never will.

All styles/genre are welcome, I love to experiment and if it turns out to be a winner, My Pockets Productions will pay for all the little things that have to get paid for (somehow).

Oh ya! I don’t work with other peoples lyrics in anyway shape or form, so please don’t send a poem or lyric, because you’ll make me feel bad when I tell you to get lost.
